Five weeks until the 2011 race season starts

The good news is the replacement fender and door are painted. The engine is back together from a complete and I mean complete tear down. With a little luck it will be back in the car running this weekend.

Hang a few body panels, mount the new race seat, check to make sure the damaged rear calipers are still working, new exhaust to bump the torque up slightly, spray the hood and dyno, tune, dyno, tune and more dyno and tuning runs.

Oh, toss in crewing for my brother and his friends at the Sandblast Rally.

I'm assuming by the vinyl on your car that CAM is going to be where you get the car tuned. Do you know if they can do steady state tuning there? I'm going to need somewhere to bring my Miata in the coming months.

Good luck, Jim.

I am actually prepared for 2011 early this year. Sooner than I have been in a long time. The Z06 got some weight reduction this winter, corner balanced, more aggressive alignment, and a new tune. I am down to an 8.41 hp:wt ratio, so I am very happy about that. If my driving skills are up to snuff, I may be able to snag some free tires in TTA this year.
