I have sent a few e-mails to VIR and the dude listed in the first post but still no response. Is VIR running this or deal somebody else?

Email this guy asap ksmith@virclub.com that is Kerrigan SMith, he has beengreat about communications, unlike the other guy that is listed. Last I heard they were still deciding about feasability, get the idea they want more cars. I asked about bringing other cars but they don't want the speed difference, they just don't know how fast Dieter is!

Why didn't that Kerrigan guy just mention he was with VIR on the Lemons forum?

VIR is TERRIBLE with any type of communications. Telephone, e-mail, smoke signals...nothing seems to get through.

Yeah he said he was a dedicated Crap Can racer.

I don't know but if one of my employees answered emails and phone calls from anybody (not to mention somebody who has spent thousands of dollars with us already) like that Kevin Massey Shaw they would be my former employee,

My favorites are web-based companies that don't answer e-mails. I actually prefer to shop on-line and communicate with e-mail vs. calling someone on the phone. If I send an e-mail to ask a question and don't get a response in less than 24 hours, I move on to the next company until I find one that will respond.

Maybe that is why the guy in charge of Sales and Marketing got fired yesterday. Maybe the new guy will work on this thing called "customer service". I heard that has something to do with Sales and Marketing. Kinda like changing your product when it isn't working so well... ;-)

Nobody who knows you would question a mental health day..... the service manager might even recommend regular follow up sessions with Dr. Houston. :P

I can certify that anybody that races in Lemons or Chump is crazy! Where do I send the letter.
However, that makes me crazy too. Can a crazy person certify that another person is crazy? Hummmmm?

I finally got a response from them. I just need to call him to make payment. I feel a cough and fever coming on already.

Carrier pidgeon is the key to making contact. Just scribble out your question on a coktail napkin in crayon and wrap it around the feathery little fellows leg and set him free. If he returns with a response it was meant to be, if not, somebody blasted him and he is in the stew....

For those who might be interested. VIR cancelled this. Kevin called me today and said they only had 10 teams sign up and 5 had cancelled so it just wasn't feasible to do this.
