Asphalt Ventures / rEvolution Performance 2010 Tryptophan Recovery Plan

This event will close the 2010 season for Asphalt Ventures at Virginia International Raceway, and we hope you can join us... there's something for everyone!

Sunday, November 28th - VIR Patriot Course & Skid Pad:
If you're not a morning person, this day is for you... check in starts at 9:00am, driver's meetings at 10:00, lunch/parade laps, then the fun really begins at noon...

Beginners/novices: You'll be treated to the 1st annual "Newbie Clinic" with Chuck Hawks and rEvolution Performance classroom and skid pad exercises. You'll then move on to instructed track sessions on VIR's Patriot Course, 1.1 miles of constant activity.

Intermediate, advanced/solo, and instructors will alternate track sessions (intermediate drivers will have an in-car instructor.) There won't be extra classroom for these groups, so you'll be able take a breather between track sessions.

Monday, November 29th - VIR Full Course:
This day will include a traditional driver's education format for beginners/novices, and intermediate/advanced drivers. Solo and Instructor level drivers will have longer, open lapping sessions (passing anywhere w/point.)

LOTS of track time for everyone, and priced right... space is limited, so please sign up early!

Beginner/Novice, Intermediate/Advanced DE: $299 for both days
Advanced Solo: $349 for both days
Instructors: $125 for both days (only 1 student assignment) or $0 (2-student assignments)

Intermediate, Advanced solo, and paying instructors can opt for 1-day only for $50 off. Beginners, you are required to attend both days.

More details, and of course online registration here: http://msreg.us/Trypto

** Don't forget to use the 'THSCC' discount code for $25 off!! **

Hope to see you there!

Please email or PM me if you have any questions

Is it possible to sign up for Monday and be wait listed for Sunday? I'd like to do both days if it opens up, but I'm more than happy to run Monday in case Sunday stays booked up.

For the intermediate/advanced group? Right now, that's the only group full for Sunday.

But yes... I can work something out. Best thing to do is sign up for the two-day "waitlisted" entry and I'll adjust from there.

Liz and I both signed up already, and didn't realize there was a THSCC discount. How do we fix this?

Also, is there somewhere on-site to get tires mounted? And if so, how much?

Thanks!

I had a great time the past two days at this event. Thanks for putting it on Stacy! Got to do a lot of firsts for me at VIR: skid pad, patriot course, full course. Man am I glad I had a few events under my belt before driving full course at VIR. That was very intimidating. Even though I had driven North course before, Hogpen terrified me. It might of had to do something with the grass excursion route I took with my instructor though. I would suggest all autocrossers go try Patriot course. It was a blast! And I finally understood understeer vs. oversteer on the skid pad. Now I'll go sulk since I probably won't be doing anymore events until the spring. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Christmas party this Saturday!

Patriot Course was a blast in our Lemons car. The car was drifting all over the place which is crazy in a FWD car.

Thanks again to Stacy and his crew for letting us test our car at the event before we head to the year ending 24 hour race in Florida on New Year's Eve.

^x2 - made me really wish I'd brought my car, but the logistics ended up being impossible.

Thanks Stacy!

Thanks to all the AV crew. Now that I've thawed out I realize that it was a blast with plenty of track time. See you all next year, have a good one.
