Here's what I did to my engine and tranny mounts this weekend....

To be fair, they were after market poly bushings. I blame the new suspension... it was obviously too much for the rest of the car to handle.

they were ireland engineering mounts. i have the same ones on my car and after inspecting them today they are almost in the same condition as my dad's but have not completely failed yet.

I was expecting them to be UUC ones that seem to fail like crazy. You might look into the Bimmerworld GroupN knockoffs, they have been excellent on my car. Seems like poly is just too brittle for engine mounts. Hopefully the fan didnt get thrown into the radiator during all that.

Nope, but I did blow a coolant hose and overheated so the concern is warpage. We'll see once I get it buttoned up and running.

Had the BW hard rubber mounts on my old M3, they were great.

Mitch went all soild on his E36 and the whole car vibrates like crazy, especially at idle.
