I strongly suspect that your prerace procedure for installing the steering wheel has been modified with several upward pulls on the wheel after it's been snapped on to the column.!!!! :oops: :oops:

i never lost a position (at least not in class, which is all that matters). i'll post the results shortly. today (sunday) i had a great qualifying session going until an incident occurred which ended my day. qualified 4th out of 17 cars and might have been able to snag 3rd with another couple of laps.

Don't worry, it'll buff out and leave a few speed dimples, you know like a golf ball. Once we replace the front right control pretzel it will be as good as new!

Sorry to see that...hope it's a quick repair and you're back out there soon!

I have a serviceable hood and passenger front fender (mild creases and dents) if one doesn't turn up locally and you're in a time crunch.

Still needs:
(1) crank scraper
(2) oil pressure, oil temp, fuel pressure gauges
(3) oil pan shield
(4) non-conflicting weekends
(5) non-conflicting weekends
(6) Did I mention no weekend conflicts?
