both of his rear shocks have blown and leaked all their fluid. its possible he will drive my car for the event. since i will be driving in blue groupe does anyone know what groupe we should put my dad in (green or yellow) so that my car would have some time to cool off between sessions? i dont want to put my car through 2 20 minute sessions back to back.

It can take it. Nobody could be harder on it than you!

Edit. As I look at the photo to the left of me abusing the Laser!

We will place him according to experience, but we also try to have Solo groups run between student groups.

Quick question, are parade laps allowed during lunch like it was at VIR back over Easter weekend?

Only if you are driving a large float shaped like snoopy and woodstock!!

Seriously, we typically do them on Saturday during the lunch break. I don't have the schedule in front of me, but Brad and Mark will have it soon.

Can't wait for this weekend. I 'have' to co-drive Sean's car this week so this should be a great experience. I just hope I don't hate my weak and heavy 328 afterward.

I bet you didn't hate the A/C and radio on the drive home.

What a HOT one!!!

Thanks to everyone for keeping it clean on track. It made our job on Grid that much easier.

To echo Kevin's post, thank you everyone for a great weekend. It was one of the quietest events we have run. Our sheets were mostly clean and we had more sign offs for solo from great students than I can remember.

Big thanks to our instructors and the clinic on Friday went great.

I'll post more details soon.

Great weekend! It was awesome to see so many fellow autocrossers faces out at the track this weekend! Now I can't wait til October! Hope to go to another event maybe in between, but can't say the summer months are all that appealing.

Good time despite the heat. Got a Wally World hi speed fan and turned my trailer into a wind tunnel. 8)

Learned a lot of things about E30 BMWs. Take what ever Miata knowledge you have and throw it out the window!

I did manage to get the E30 down to low 1:55s. Though about 4 seconds slower than my SC'd Miata, I seemed "busier" while driving. Top speeds through the kink were greater than what I felt comfortable doing in the SC'd Miata.

Can't wait until October so I can figure out how to slide it through T8 (You gotta follow Matt McBride!)

Did you learn putting gas in the tank helps with fuel starvation issues? :P

On the way to work this morning I passed a black Miata with a green run group sticker. That brought a smile to my face.

I would guess it was Andrew Jonell, mine was in the garage this morning.

I had an awesome time. Thanks for everyone who put this together, it must take an immense amount of work to get everything in place.
