But how many ran before he started 'fixing' things? Yeah, I know it's ironic coming from me of all VW owners. 8)

Woot, Kevin i left you a message on your phone. The cars running good. The pivot under neigh the car that the linkage connects too, i put it on up-side-down where it connects the body. Was scrapping on the drive shaft, no damage was done just some paint scraped off it. The baring is squeaking very faintly, but i should be able to get some miles on it before i have to get under the car again, thank god. Now the cars feels awesome, revs like a basterd. Response very good, the clutch to me feels pretty much like the stock one. I haven't tried taking off with it yet but I'll be sure to let you know.

P.S. Im going back to SM, that's right you all get to see the pimp CF hood again

Thanks again kevin.

Glad to hear it's okay now. Good luck at the autox on Sunday!

I looked up the solution for the CE light I got today, and it said to replace the thermostat. Did that last time, and determined that the one that came out was okay (tested it in the lab at work).

Hey, all I (I mean Joel) broke on Sunday was a radiator hose. I suppose that VWs have redundant ones???

Nope...but for some reason, VW found it necessary to heat my TB with coolant hoses, as if the whole motor didn't run hot enough already. Go figure.
