ahhhh, I must admit if felt good drinking a beer out of the triad glass. Funny thing is I was on my second beer and about 1/2 done w/ it and damn fly went straight into the glass and into my beer. He fly stroked for a few minutes and then called it quits. A good way to do die I think.

So here's the deal, flys usually go to stuff that stinks. Was that to say the idea of a glass for a first place trophy stinks? Personally I don't think so. Maybe we need a mix of wood and glass offerings. I like the idea of the glass.

i think beer glass trophies are a cool idea. are they etched?

Nope. They have a "screenprint" which mimics etching. The treasurer of Triad has an in with the company that doesn't usually do private sales and does it as a favor.

It makes you feel good when you start a collection of them. I just hope Lee doesn't start showing up regularly to Triad events. . .

It's a regular pint glass with the Triad logo and "1st Place" under it for a class win, and a Triad logo with "Fastest Time" under it for a category win (FTSP for example).
