Thanks Gwen,

Of course I remember--thanks for not forgetting me! Apologies for the double post--I swear I clicked OK only once. I'm alone that weekend, looking for some driving instruction close to home. While a novice, I'm not really a n00b, so any instruction is good instruction. Besides, money is money right?

While your seat time in autocross is limited, you obviously had some basic knowledge-I noticed while doing a course walk- and you picked up what was a pretty long course for a noob in Sanford. I’d say, why not start early with some good habits rather than have to break bad habits later. If I’m wrong, I apologize in advance.

Solo Pro has *no* requirements (like Evo did) that you must take course A before B and so forth. So, you can take whatever classes you want in whatever order best suits you.

:redcool: Thanks, Eric. OK Steven, click the "I'm In" on the poll. Looks like a go!

Had another chat with Tim this evening, which eased my mind. It's official - we're hosting this school.

Just to make sure I've been clear, this is a single day, "Competition" curriculum school. I'll be requesting Bowie to send them a deposit in the morning to hold the date for us.

Sounds good Karl! It would be great to have a debriefing meeting Saturday night after dinner if Tim is going to be around.

I'm guessing he wouldn't mind doing that in the least. I've talked on the phone with Tim three times now. We're both pretty bad about we'll talk and talk until someone asks us to stop. Gwen now knows this as well.

The layout is basically this. First half of the day is sort of a "basics refresher" kind of thing, for the people who have maybe not done one of their other schools before. As the day progresses, it'll get more and more into the sports psychology aspect of it. Why you place the car where you place it. How to walk a course properly. Tim said "we never stop instructing you all day long."

Sweet! Happy Father's Day to me...

I already clicked the "I'm in" button..before checking my schedule. Before checking with my wife. Before, well....before doing much thinking at all. Glad things have gone correctly so far!

So, we're talking Saturday, 6/27, right?

I voted "I'm in" based on 90%+ probability that I can get someone to sit with my kids both Saturday and Sunday.

Oh, I may have misread the dates, thinking that "Saturday before" meant the 20th, not the 27th. If it's the 20th , which sounds doubtful, then I can go--otherwise I'l have to retract my "I'm in" vote if it's on the 27th.

Sorry for my poor forum-post comprehension skils....

We're working that out now. I'll make a post here as soon as all the details are worked out.
