what color should the numbers be. so far we have white.. bc my car and the toyota and the bmw were all dark colored.

White would be fine, as would yellow if you want it to look all Subaru looking. Something light colored and bright.

Find a set of Rally Armor mud flaps. They are sturdy and relatively cheap.
