Anyone going to Danville this weekend for Triad's autocross? I guess a lot of folks are headed to VIR? I was planning on going to the VIR North event and doing the time trial and all, but time just got away from me this year so far...

I'm going. Should be a pretty good event. Last weekend didn't work for the co-driver and I. - AB

I'm going to the autocross on Sunday. I'll also be at the track event at VIR on Saturday spectating.

Looks like I won't be going to Atlanta this weekend, so yeah maybe I'll go. No promises yet though.

I may be there seeing how sideways I can get the WRX. Screw "honing the setup and my driving" and all that crap.

I might attend, hopefully there are no new signs planted next to the pavement in Danville.

You go, girlfriend! Show them how tarheel ladies rock! Wish I could join you. I'm down here at CMP with "Dieter" and the boys.

I'll be there driving my first front wheel drive car in anger. I hope that the MazdaSpeed 3 is kind to me. I rode in Robert Turner's MS3 last weekend so the car should not be the problem. I'll be in tire class trying my best to use up that factory rubber.

You might have a shot. It's not how much horsepower you have but how much you can put to the pavement. With the electronic nanny's off, it's very tricky. The front end can go up in smoke very easily. With the nanny's on it feels so slow. By the way, do 3's like to spin?

does MY 3 like to spin? YES, the bigger rear bar does that though. That and a combination of stupid driving sometimes.

The suspension is entirely different on the speed, I can't really speak to whether it will spin, but I doubt it. I've only test driven one.

Mine wasn't spin happy before the bar (but didn't push terribly like most FWD's do from the factory).

I'll probably be there if my more rational half doesn't mind me spending to consecutive weekends working Saturday then racing Sunday.

Seven more months of freedom. (kidding of course)

hmm not sure if i'm gonna go anymore, got some schoolwork to do.

even with my rear anti-sway, the car is still really tight, but it did increase front end grip by a lot.
