What a great event thanks to the event chairs Rob and Bernie(Gwen and Gary). Had a blast in the Fit.

This was a great event if I do say so myself, I think the course was the best one ever done at any THSCC event ever !!!!

A big thanks to Gwen and Gary who will get less credit than they deserve for the help with design and setup. Also Dustin and my event co-chair Bernie for all their help.

I am going to put the course may on my original background and post it cause I think it looks cool. Stay tuned

Glad you were able to come out and run yesterday Christine! I think everyone was happy to see your face!

Thanks to Rob, Bernie, Gwen, Gary, and Dustin for setting up the event!
Thanks to Malia for all your help in the bus yesterday to keep the event running smoothly!

Also, thanks to all the workers this year! THSCC wouldn't be able to put on the events without everyone pitching in.

I was a bit concerned when I walked the course, but then found it flowed very well and was one of the better course designs this year. I was still a bit wary I guess after hitting the curb in Charlotte so I never did totally trust the car yesterday.

Had a good day. That course was fun. Thanks Rob, Bernie, Gwen, Gary and Dustin. This is 2 events in a row that had fun courses that I enjoyed. This stuff could be addicting...

Karl I agree on the surface. There are some areas where it is really going to come up in the near future. The surface is not any better than Sanford to me. For me it was mostly because I was on R6s that I never got enough heat in them. If A6s couldn't get warm enough then r-comps may not have been much help. None the less it was a good day.

Any chance of getting the times posted for this event? Just wondering how I stacked up against others in my new ride.

I will see if I can figure it out after my head recovers!

Hahaha! Busted

Yeah, I'm in Charlotte working so I just crashed with a buddy in G-boro. I got edged out by a Mazda 5 as punishment. I'm not taking this AS pax thing very well...arg.

Looking forward to next season x100!

That was one of the best drift courses for a 2.5RS ever. Loved throwing it into the lefts just before & after the turnaround & drifting FOREVER. And the one in front of the bus was great, too. That set up the next section for some good pendulum turns. And the handbrake turns in the very first turn on the course and in the Chicago box were huge fun. I think I can finally go ahead and replace the 5 year old tires that are on these wheels, now that the tread is just barely recognizeable. :D

Thank you. That course was exactly what I was hoping for when I decided to make the trip up there.

Know how I know there's something wrong with you?

Actually, I liked the start a lot. I like it when I don't have to do an "epic launch." Leaving it in 1st gear around that first right hander was fun - up at the top of the powerband, I could squirt the car around that cone very nicely and let the torsen do its job. I liked it.

I really struggled with that damn box all day. On the way back down the runway, from a little before the second double-cone gate all the way to that L-shaped thing, I was full throttle in the S2000. Which was a riot of fun, but made that box tricky to get right (which I never did).

All's well now - I've gotten rather good at polishing out cone marks.

That sounds like it could be a fun game. Kind of like Hot Potato but with consequences.

Malia, to get the web results this is what I do. Go to Reports and at the bottom of the menu you will see something to the effect of "Save to web (.HTML)". Click on that. Then Reports, Generate all reports and it will save the overall, raw, PAX, and summary results to .html files. I then save all those as one .zip file and forward that on to the webmaster@thscc.com address and then Carl and Emmie work their magic.

That should do it for you.
