Feinberg and Spratte get to buy a B

As in Hype R to B Stock, to die a silent death.

Street Prepared

Bigger Brakes now allowed
Bigger Radiators now allowed

Wow.

Mazdaspeed 3 and Cobalt SS to GS? Um, the Cobalt just proved it could get it done in DS at the Pro finale. I was there.

Looks like they finally opened up motor mounts in SP, that one bugged me for a while.

Sentra SE-R to FSP - huh. That one has an outside chance of effecting me coming up here in the next month or so.

Kind of a shame they decided to obsolete the car. It is neither expensive or unattainable. Of course, I'm not an SCCA member, so I have no dog in this fight.

Other interesting/fun possiblities:

E46 M3 now allowed in STU.

Mazda RX-8 now allowed in STX (that could be a really fun STX ride) - with 265 wide tires on 9" wide wheels.

Apparently the Type R to BS and the movement of all DS to GS are not actually approved yet.

Yeah, those class changes are bogus. There was a big mixup there. I think the other stuff is legit, though. Haven't gone to review it all myself, but Wynveen made a post over on SCCAForums.com with a correction. *sigh*

Those class changes are in no way a done deal.

About ... time. But no, I'm not going back there. Really. Not going to do it..... Please. No.

Of course, I think they forgot to include:

ITEM 30A) Move from ESP to ASP: All Hackmobiles

Thank you for your prompt reply to my concern about the omission in the October Fastrack. I believe your answer refers specifically to the WRX Hackmobile STi. It is my considered opinion that all WRXs are Hackmobiles and therefore should be banned from any class that I'm running in.

:)

Do I need to go shopping for another Talon Art? You know, now I could crank in at least another 100 hp with just a boost controller (Stock boost =11 psi, my old car could run 20 psi on 100 octane)?

That would put you in street mod, wouldn't it? Boost is unlimited, but boost controllers aren't legal. How much boost do you get on the stock turbo with the stock boost controller?

The method that my old car regulated boost would be legal AFAIK. Haven't read the rules lately but still think its doable.

Stock boost = 11 psi

Ryan, haven't you gotten sick of cars that don't work? Aren't you tired of having to end every statement about your cars with the phrase, "but it's really not that bad?"

Forza's aren't THAT bad, but you knew I would say that.

Not only statements about cars, but statements about car parts too

OHhh I am not in anyway gonna buy a DSM anytime soon.

Hell, I have spent half the week negotiating with Jason Mauldin for stock parts to DEModify my car.

Ryan, the road to redemption is before you. I'm proud of ya man!

Seriously...would that thing be any good as a GS car? I know it's got struts, but so does...almost everything else.
