After missing out on the school, and hearing about a Triad event Sunday, I'm going to go for a little extra seat-time.

Any other TH'ers going? Anyone want to co-drive my car, or do a little coaching for an entry fee/lunch?

Whoops - nevermind! Thought it was just a local event, not a 2-day Divisional.

Maybe I'll go play with NCR or something - hmm, Tidewater is running at ACU-4.

Well, I'm sure there are STS drivers/cars that would spank me pretty handily there.
Mainly it's the $75 entry for only Sunday runs, though.

There is a 1-day price but I'm not sure what it is. You'll only get 3 runs due to the divisional format so if you're looking for seat time, it may not be your best option.

It will be a great place to find out how fast you are, however. :)

Did they confirm just 3 runs. I thought I remember that they allowed a range and 3 was the minimum. But the max was 5 for a divisional?

This will be a fun event to see how you stack against some of the best drivers in the region at a site you're familiar with.

Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.

Hmm - OK. I guess like childhood, you can learn a few lessons even from a spanking
Waiting to find out if I can pre-reg for Sunday, then :)

You just register and show up on Sunday. I believe the Sunday only price was like $30-$35 so it isn't as cheap as a normal event but it is better than the full $75.

I believe there is a minimum of 3 required to be an official event and I'm not aware of a maximum. With that said, they were trying to stay within the traditional "Tour" format for the divisionals this year and I'd honestly be surprised if we do more than 3 regardless of the attendance.

For reference, we did 3 each day down in Gainesville and were done by 1pm each day. It allowed the out-of-towners to hit the road early on Sunday and nobody complained about that, that's for sure.

Considering Triad is the host, they may be up for fun runs each day but I haven't seen nor heard of any discussion about it either way.
