You can't tell me you're the slighted bit surprised by that...

I'm actually a bit disappointed in that there is enough Zaino on the car where I thought the cones would slide right off. Must need another coat.....

I knew that 4WD Hack put that slalom there. It sucked. Almost as bad as the turn around. :stick:

Tom you drive a BMW that looks like a dog, literally... Enough said... ;-)

Rob the cone marks came off. Zaino rocks!!! You don't

I may be a RWD hack waxer who can't figure this stuff out. At least I ran consistent. 38.088, 38.047, 38.033.

The course was fun and I had a good time getting back out to an AX event. Thanks to everyone who did all the work.

Maybe next time I'll get one of the best drivers in the club to co-drive with me and see what the car can rally do for times... I'll even bring good tires...

If you can check your ego at the door, it's actually a lot of fun to do that Graham.

Next time I'll have to make sure that the owner of the car does not saddle me with a car with a suspension tuned to make John Deere proud. :P I think I lost 2 seconds in the damn turnaround trying keep the car off the cones.....the back cones. Still had fun..... will LS6 fit in a Miata........

This, of course, in lieu of one of the club's best drivers...

:D

No problem there Karl. Had my ego knocked out of me at my 1st AX. Just want to make it fun again. See what someone else can make the car do and possibly teach me something. Old dogs can learn 1 or 2 new tricks. Just takes longer for it to sink in...

Just for clarification - I wasn't trying to imply that you had trouble with the ego checking at the door thing.

I've pretty much made a habit of doing this since I bought the S2000, with Eric, Whitney, Aaron and Art all taking turns demonstrating my incompetence to me. It's been demoralizing at times - I won't lie about that - but it's fun, educational, and takes the "I wonder if it's the car?" question off the table for good.

Yeah to that. I let Marcus co-drive my STi after he sold his two years ago. I have more power and less suspension than what he was use to and he still pulled 3 seconds on me. That includes his granny launching and light right foot. My argument remains "I still have more fun even though my times are slower" :)

we have a subaru.. my car.. and a bmw.. dads car. we could both autocross. though my car is slow cause of mud tires on it, not pavement tires.

the black car will eventually be up and running again..
