I had a great time. It was fun hanging out with people I only really knew by name before.

One shot from this weekend. I'll need to get some work done before I edit the entire set down to something reasonable.

Please. No more pictures of me running over stuff. Seriously. Those are pretty much all over the internet by now, and everybody's sick of seeing them.

Is it always you or one of the co-drivers?

Well, Art and Eric have both hit cones in the car, sure, but it's pretty much always me. Neither of those guys have ever been plus 18 on a day for certain

It's all fun and games to point and laugh at burning cones and a season where I'm plus something like 40. But I was so furious after Sunday morning, I left the site for a while. Whatever emotion causes golfers to throw their clubs into the lake, that's what I was experiencing, so I thought it best to walk away for a bit.

Well I have learned that I suck at driving big overpowered cars  I hit cones, I can't make my right foot lift off the "go" pedal in time to actually not add 20 ft. to the turnaround and once I entered that slalom too fast, my hands don't go fast enough to get the car to turn. I thought the slalom cones were too close and must have been put there by a damn Miata driver but then I realized Les made it through

Now my co-driver is whining about all the cone marks on his car from me hitting cones and wanting me to clean them. I think that instead we need to clean the cones. Make everyone who is DFL in their class have to degrease them so they don't mark up the cars. It will be a double benefit for them since they are the ones hitting them.  Oh, wait.........lately DFL has been me

For what it's worth, they were put there by a Subaru driver ...

And I hate slaloms, too. But I thought that one worked pretty well. Separated the people with self-control from those who just wanted an excuse to mow down cones. :P

I'm learning that I'm in the same boat Rob. I'm used to all gas or all brake in the R. With the M3 I'm having a helluva time finding the 'fine line' of control vs. chaos and not really getting the benefits of rear wheel drive until I change the driving style of abrupt inputs with the steering & throttle.

I think the course was rad and easy to remember with a lot of variety in the elements.
