Do all British cars that simply finish get a consolation prize of a free bag of oil dry and a jar of Lucas smoke?

Oh... was I only supposed to go to 10. If one of the above doesn't show tomorrow, put me in 10th. 8)

That is wishfull thinking. The only SM euro driver in the top ten will probably be Mr Whitney. He is helping with the course design and I am sure he is out there right now doing 20 practice runs. :)

I got umm... umm... specially matched set of tires... all I have to do is put the hammer down! Oh wait wrong event.

Oh wait, Whitney is signed up for BSP. Anywho, none of the SM folks are going to be in the top ten PAX. (Ever!!)

Holy poop I just went through hell!!! Coming back from doing a commercial playground installation in Durham (70 & 85 area) I hear this awful rackety-rack sound coming from my back right wheel- something's wrong.

I pull over and see a small 1/2 chunk missing from my sideskirt part of the body, all five lugs are fine, and a 1" chuck missing from my tire with the steel belt showing. Damnit!!! Apparently a chunk of sheet metal or something sharp sliced right into the tread and tried to destroy/slice anything around it for a few rotations at about 80.

All this happened less than three hours ago. I was more bummed about missing "eurothrash" than the Pilot Sport which was nearing a soon death anyhow.

After deliberating about using the slime or calling Dean's with a flatbed, I called my nearby tire shop and they could get two new PS's. Sweet! I drove the car to my shop stopping to inflate about 7 times, also using the weaksauce compressor that comes with, and shoving two plugs in fairly easily. Had I waited for a tow truck I would have been waiting forever. Come to find out my shop can't install them due to the wheel size.

Soooo, our friendly folks at the Discount Tire down the street could work it in. Woooot!

So I'm getting my arse there one way or another... barely. :brow:

I beg to differ... I was 8th in Eurotrash PAX @ Greenville. My figurings were all about Euro cars over the last 4 events. (oops Eurothrash)

Bad news- porsche still in the shop. I exploded the ring and pinion at the drag strip and I'm still putting in the spare transmission. I'll be there with DSP pax and the 325! Not that I would be able to beat two 330 ZHPs, a crossfire, an integra type R, and a 135i with a 325 in DS. Sorry for anyone who hoped I would be top ten eurothrash! Although last time I ran the 325 I did pax 14th. See everyone tomorrow!

Don't forget to burn the mold release compound off the new tires before tomorrow...you probably need some practice launching the car anyway. :)

I don't believe I saw any British cars in Whitney's Eurotrash entry list.

Anyway, here's my prediction:

1. Rudolph
2. Dieter
3. Hans
4. Franz
5. Ulbrecht
6. Ahhhnuld
7. Alfredo Fettucini
8. Bernhard
9. Dieter's monkey (Wilhelm)
10. Gottlieb
