Ok folks, it's quite nearly too late to be considering a date change, but we're going to put a poll out here anyway to guage interest. Currently, our July event is scheduled for Saturday the 19th. However, it was brought to our attention that this is also when the VA Coventry Games were scheduled, and there's at least a few of you that have expressed interest in attending.

We have verified that we can move the autocross to the previous weekend, but we'd also have to make it a Sunday (the 13th) event (currently is one of our few Saturday events).

So, in the spirit of making sure your Autocross staff is at least attempting to do the right thing for the majority - please answer the above poll.

I wouldn't mind seeing the July event rescheduled only because it falls on the same day as my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately the Coventry Games always fall on the weekend that we have her birthday party so they are usually out anyway.

Donna and I would love to see it changed to the 13. Local Sat events are nearly impossible for Donna and it would give us two tune up events before the Finger lakes prosolo July 26-27.

Ok, so what’s the decision on dates? Will it be the 13th or the 19th of July? Inquiring minds need to know. :?:

Sorry, date remains as scheduled - 19th. Sorry to all that were hoping for a change, but there's just not a significant enough percentage to proceed with moving the date.

Sorry, I posted in the VP forum but not here. We are leaving the dates as originally scheduled. Sorry to those that wanted to attend both, we hope that you will choose our event instead, but understand the appeal of being a "state champion". :)
