I don't care. What's another $100.00 tank of gas to go a little farther? Wait, gas will be at least $5.00 a gallon by then. Make that $125.00.

Nah, $5.00 won't happen yet. gas will come back down shortly despite all the media hype. The Saudis are already feeling the pinch as demand has cut back. there really is no shortage of oil, they are just regulating supply to keep prices up. So prices have now spiked from $2.50 p/gal to about $4 p/gal. Now they will loosen up supply and prices will come down to $3 - $3.25. p/gal. It is so much less than the $4+ that people here will go back to buying Hummers again and the $3.25 will be the new $2.50. The Arabs will be happy because they are selling as much oil but getting more profit, the oil companies will be happy because they now have set the expectation higher, and we will pay more but not notice it as much.

I'd stop and get a lottery ticket while you are at it Rob.

Speaking of which, this poll is moot.

The NCAC is officially going to be Sat and Sun Oct 25-26th at Continental Tire in Charlotte. Thanks to Brian and Continental Tire for their great support. More details coming later. Lets all come out since it is in our home court and take on the other clubs. Thanks Dave

Is this the location they are talking about?

(Assuming that I did this correctly, so that you can see it.)

If so, it certainly looks easy enough to find. Who's run there that can tell us a little about it?

Looks big enough and it's 15 min from my brother's house. Whoot!

Should we start the smack talk now? THSCC brings home the cup again!!

What's wrong with it? Looks pretty big and pretty square to me. Is it Laurinburg quality pavement or something?

That's pretty big? Look at the rubber laid down there from a previous event. It's the horrible, you might get lucky to grab 2nd gear there.

haha, I'm dumb. I was seeing the top of the roof and thought that was pavement.

Yeah, pretty small. . .

I change my vote to "willing to drive to Laurens", or maybe not coming to the NCAC anyways. Oh well, too late.

wow that is small. Hmmm... I doubt I'll go now, even with it as close as it is. - AB

Yea, um, no comment! :)

I'm on the fence about going at this point although it may be a decent opportunity to test out the "new-for-'09" auto-x car.
