Sunday should be a fun event. I just spoke with the owner of the site, and the grill is now under new management, and will be open for lunch on Sunday.

I just hope the mustang with the orange wheels will show up again so I can take notes on driving the course in reverse.

x2. Better yet, ride with him. He's spent more time driving sideways on asphalt than I care to think about. Randy was a drifter before there was such a thing.

With my poor performance at the last event I think I am going to keep the smack talk to myself :oops:

If anyone is interested we are meeting up again at the Best Buy in Crossroads (Cary) and caravaning to the event, meet up at 6:30am

Not sure but a couple of weeks ago he was having intermittent AWD issues.

I road in the beast at VIR-N last weekend with Vincent at the Helm. That car is insane fun.

I'll spare you all the gory details, but the process of getting my CCWs back from CCW has not gone well. About when suggestions of airmailing them back to me via American Airlines started getting made is when I should have raised the white flag.

Getting custom fabricated, one-off parts built to your specifications is hard.

Well, I guess it's one of those thing where, if I spend this large an amount of money on wheels, I'd like it to be an easier process than it's been.

There's still an outside chance the car will make it down. But it's a very outside chance at this point.
