uh oh, custom modifications to control arms AND camber plates?

PROTEST!

Just kidding, I've resigned myself to getting whooped in STS all year :(

Nice driving Kendt.

So, would that make it a mini-skirt?

I have been accused of spooning with Vincent and now wearing Mini-skirts, good thing I am secure in my masculinity!

This event was a ton of fun. I had never driven on anything quite like it, rwd, slick etc.

I set high goals for myself, (didn't reach them) but I had a hell of a time trying to get there. Dustin was crazy fast and I can't wait for the rest of the season.

Everybody was driving their socks off. The top ten was covered by 1.235 sec. Impressive!!

I guess fixing the holes ripped in the subframe would count as a 'performance improvement'

Weren't you threatening crotch-punches for weenie protests  ?

Great event Gwen and Walter! The course was terrific and this is always great site. My only suggestion would be that future timing equipment be made out of softer material

For those who didn’t see it all happen, the timing reflector jumped out in front of the Miata at the finish and the steel base went right through the bottom of the radiator.

My thanks to all who helped push us out of the way and cleaned up the cones and coolant that we left behind. A special thanks to Walter, who was kind enough to go home and get his trailer and take the Miata to his place. Les happens to have a radiator lying around, so we'll be back in time for Danville.

I had a blast! It's unfortunate (sort of) that I am relegated out of Novice Class due to my 1st place finish though. :|

It's time for me to be clobbered by some Mini Cooper S's I guess.

nice job...i feel like you're repeating my performance at then end of 2006:
trophying in novice your first two events, then being very competitive in street tire class in a terrible car.

I think the real thing is reinforced control arms. STS allows you to change/modify the control arms OR have camber plates, not both.

As I said, you needn't worry about a protest from me though. Heck, Rodney was illegal too (no fog lights).

OK, to get super-tech-weenie on it - the camber plates are in the front, the LCA's that got reinforced are the rears, and the reinforcement is a small plate welded on the top like Ford did for the 03/04 SVTs after problems with the LCA's breaking.

what happened to cause all this damage anyways (off topic, just curious)?

As I said, no need to worry about a protest from me, I don't feel your gaining any real performance advantage from any of these "illegal" mods, its the legal mods that you've done and driving ability that are kicking my ass.

How are the dunlops compared to the Falkens, btw?
