Yeah, I thought I had successfully lived my life where I had no association with anyone who played D&D and then I see somebody on THIS FORUM posting about the founder fo D&D crocking or something like that.

Crocking? I don't think anybody ever mentioned fabrics transferring colors but there was some dyeing involved. Possibly a pot or two as well.

Boil, Boil, Toil and Trouble...

Or is that Double, Double, Toil and Trouble? I'm confused again... :?

Lil' Mike, or Pedro, I have a short video clip of your head bobbing around in the BMW from the TnT. Need to youtube it...I'll get it up sometime.

Thanks for letting me get a ride in the BMW. Those R compounds certainly gave you a significant amount of grip and the bimmer seats are so much more proper for 'spirited driving' compared to my pseudo luxurious seats. I'm sure you felt it was a slip and slide when you sat in the A4. Heck, people think it is when I drive around town.

Let me know when you get the video clip up.

Someone's been spending time in the ITR Forum on H-T or it's just a randumb coincidence.

They don't flame the noobs over there that ask what part to buy next, instead they just post cat photos and vids... Weird.

This is awesome though, especially the ZZ Top one @ 1:59:

Um, that would be a total co-ink-ki-dink.

I just don't have the patience to weed through much of anything on H-T. The few times I've peeked into the ITR forum, all I see are the "My R just got stolen!!!" threads and it's too painful to keep reading.

Lil' Mike,

The newer the car, the fatter the people the car was designed for. Also factor in the percent of the market America will be.

My 944 seats don't have huge bucket walls, but they squeeze you just right. You feel like you're falling out of the BMW seats in comparison.

Jackie always complains about not being able to use the pedals correctly in the ZHP because she's falling out of the seat and against the door.

I tell her to quit driving so fast :D

The 944 doesn't have holy crap handles, though. Gotta grab the seat belt and the door handle...

I can only recall one points event that was cancelled ("called" actually after the event started) on account of weather, and it was at Laurinburg. It rained so hard that parts of the course were a 6" deep lake.

Chuck, that's the event I was referring to. We did not call the event off, we just called a halt to heat 1 until the stormed passed. The first heat cars had to deal with the "lake" at the entrance to the P, so I grabbed a shovel and dug a trench into the infield, which eventually drained the lake down to a big puddle.

I believe we cancelled an event the year before ('01), due to Hurricane Floyd. It was to be our first event at Cherry Point, and though the officer in charge reported the day before the event that the runways were clear and we were welcome to come down, the state patrol had closed all of the surrounding roads due to flooding.

New River Air Station, which is next to but not part of Camp Lejeune, to be exact.
