Thank you everyone for the support. I just wanted to make sure that I was not making enemies because I want to be a constructive and lifetime member of the THSCC. I am here to stay and I look forward to many years of driving enjoyment, making friends, and learning about cars in general.

That is the problem with internet forums, certain things can be taken in a different way than what they were intended to be. Plus, you can be slightly moody when an Inorganic Chemistry exam kicked your (and the entire class') butt earlier in the day...

Just to add some balance (there *must* be balance!), for the record, I look down on everybody and, more importantly, think badly of everybody so don't let all that sunshine go to your head...

@#&@#$!!! noobs! :P

But seriously, welcome to the club and I'm sure you'll have a blast this weekend.

If these things were a little closer to Raleigh, I would have the Camaro there for you.

Yeah, is it weird being the only car in grid with a phone book? It's important that I get that out of the car before I buckle up.

Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.

We were indeed, and you must admit not without flames leaping out from both sides. ;)

Then it turned out Brice is a really nice guy.

We're kind of hard on people who take things too seriously -- that's the SCCA's territory, we'd hate to infringe on that -- but we also don't hold a grudge if they work out all right in the end. :D

Nothing changes. The same thing happened back in the old Usenet days, pre-forum, pre-web. A friend of mine actually had someone say to him incredulously at a party, "You're E__ G___? But you're nice!"

Hey, you guys could form a new club: "Former co-drivers that were routinely thumped by a short guy."
