Just wanted to start a thread on this event, its coming up next weekend and appears to be filling fast so if you intend to come, sign up soon.

Event info can be found here .

Mike Whitney and Rob Harvey are the event chairs and I'm sure we'll put together a very fun event to wrap up the THSCC 2007 autocross season (its over already?!?) so don't miss it.

We are still short a bus driver, so someone please step up for this. It would be greatly appreciated.

I've already told Mike I'll drive the bus - as long as it's staying here after the rallyx, that is. Anyone have different plans for it?

Forgot to ask where the bus is going after the event. It's fine with us to keep it at our house, if it doesn't need to be somewhere else. If so, I'll drive it home. If not, somebody who lives near where it needs to return to would be a better choice.

It would probably be more ideal for someone else to drive it back to its normal storage place, but since it isn't officially needed for any other events unless the "car swapping" event happens that could work temporarily at least.

It's almost a full week before the event and there's already a big waiting list!

Wow. I couldn't remember an season finale autocross with this kind of a waiting list. Guess it's all the folks who couldn't make to Danville.

So, I checked the archives and the last two years we had less than 100 entrants but the year before, 2004 in Laurinburg "Gone Wireless" we had 131.

FWIW, all the M3 guys could get a great group shot with the 10-11 that are enrolled if it could be coordinated.

So Christine and I are planning to bring some coolers full of drinks and some snacks that weren't sold at the rallyx. 50 cents each for sodas, water, candy bars, chips and snacks (like Little Debbie XMAS TREES!!! ). I guess we'll set up near the bus.

Here is an odd request:

I need someone to try and make me motion sick this weekend.

For those that dont know, I get motion sick REALLY easy. Like even with me driving. ESPECIALLY on track.

I have a new doodad to try this weekend.

I'm not sure what I'm driving.
Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.
