Ok, so I know it’s late in the year, Nationals are past us, and even I’m almost ready for a break from AutoX,..... almost. However, now there’s a new horse in the stable. I sure would love to give her a try in ASP, but can’t manage it in Sanford. (too much on the line there) Anyone else out there who’d like to have a “Switch Rides AX” just for fun before the end of the year? :D

I know we'd have to have X amount of interest to justify site rental, etc.

Gwennie

Well, my 1st choice is always Danville. Love the site, and a crowd at the Mexican Restaurant in Roxboro afterwards would be great too. I’d settle for where ever the AXVP’s say we could go. I’ll even throw in that I’ll chair it ( since I’ve already spoken to my ace in the hole, Jim P, and he says he’ll help me), but since I’ve never chaired an event I’m sure not married to the idea if there’s ANYONE with more experience that would do it. I’m just willing if it will get it done.

Generally if there is a VP (or former VP) willing to work with an event chair, we've never shied away from running an event.

Weather variability is the only reason we don't run year round. Rain in December is not any fun.

I remember years ago running the NASA winter series at VMP. I think it was 3 events, Dec. Jan and Feb. Attendance was generally good.

Get an event chair and a club officer, then pick a site. I'd suggest making pre-payment mandatory.

Scott

I'm in if it isn't Dec 8-9 weekend.

Sanford/Danville would be my preferences. Do we *have* to switch rides? I'm not sure I'd get any volunteers for me - maybe I could AX The General  ?

I'd show up as long as it's not Dec. 2nd.

I'd be willing to flog your POS, oops, I mean SVT Kendt. I always get my acronyms mixed up! :P

Seriously, as long as I'm "new" car shopping, it wouldn't hurt to rule out another non-possibility. Damn, there I go again! :D

But super seriously, I was going to see if you wanted a co-driver before I got a ride in the Type R for Sanford. You're more than welcome to check out the CRX or whatever I drag to the "swap-a-ride" event assuming it happens.

I'll be your GM if you can find enough interest to have it.

Good deal - I'm working on making it as spinnable as your CRX!

Impossible! Well, maybe if you install casters in place of the rear wheels. :D

I'd be interested in this, and will do whatever I can to help out.

Don't need casters, just fast food trays under the rear tires!!!!!!!!!!

hey this would be great

I just found a bunch of parts I've been needing for awhile on the 944 and they probably won't be installed by 11 Nov...
as long as it isn't during finals...

Charlie and I would definitly be in - especially if it's Danville (I'm not a big Sanford fan).

Just let us know when and where -

Just roughing some numbers in, we need about 50 entrants to pull something like this off at a reasonable price.
