Weather was misting - course was not dry or even drying. Eric said Keith coned on a run that would have put him in the top 10.

Conditions were odd this morning with intermittent drizzle alternately laying down enough water to soak the pavement, then pause long enough to dry it out.

Rinse and repeat.

Another brief update from Eric - Jim Feinberg DNF'd his second run and coned his third, (possibly vice versa) so he has to sit on his first run.

Is anyone else having issues with the results .pdf? I can't seem to get them to load properly.

When did you start expecting the SCCA website to work well?

Crazy conditions this morning. On one run a corner would be wet or semi-dry, then the next time around it would be different. It's always a crap shoot in these conditions. Though, I'd put money on Ryan Buetzer (who is currently in second to win). He's running in the Skip Barber Series next year and is one of the most talented drivers in Solo.

I felt like I drove well. Unfortunately, driving well at Nationals still leaves you a good chunk out of the lead. I made one big mistake by using too much brake on a long uphill pull that probably took me out of the hunt. It looks like the best I can do is move from 6th to 4th so that's my goal.

Keith had a great looking 3rd run and unfortunately clipped a cone. Since it was wet and cold, he was at a disadvantage being the first driver. Had he been clean he would have been ahead of some top level drivers.

Both courses are excellent - fun and challenging. Even though the conditions today were tough it was still a blast to run the West Course.

Eric

Thanks for the update Eric. It's great to hear about everyone's experience at the Nationals. Good luck on your goal for today and to everyone out there this week. Those courses look like fun.

Chuck

Lots a crazy stuff happening in the results.

-E stock leader is a Miata
-C stock is not owned by the Solsitice
-NC Miata in CSP is a backmarker
-HS has no Mini in the top 5

I also heard a rumor of the 275/35/15 on a ES MR2    I think that's a 6" rim folks.

Weird stuff...

8 thou separated Jim and Eric Sienkiewicz in 6th and 7th in STS2. Damn. Looks like Jim did a great job recovering from yesterday. And Eric -- that's just sick.
