Im not picky and am willing to pay some cash for the cause :)

PM or ecugrad97@yahoo.com

I promise to try and beat the living hell out of the car owner. I will stay out of season points by running X if need be.

The "cheater CRX" has a seat open if you want it. You'll have to contend with Chris Lin but he's a rookie so he should be easy to beat. :)

If I go, you're welcome to seat in my car.

Hey, don't try to steal my co-driver!

Besides, the CRX is a guaranteed top PAX finish and I know Ryan is all about the PAX! Heck, the car practically drives itself! :D

No pressure Ryan...

Ryan, I'm sure you won't have to worry about spinning the car either...that tail is stuck real good, right Jim? (thinking about NCAC Sunday when someone else was driving and how I was glad as **** that workers weren't right there at that spot).

I used to own a twin car to Jim's, I know what I have in store for this weekend.

Mine was just damn evil

You should have seen it last weekend at Danville with Triad! Chris, Eric and I all had a real bad driving day for some reason. Chris spun 3 out of 4 of his runs and had a cone on his only decent run. Eric coned all 4 runs and never looked all that comfortable. All my runs were terrible and I came as close to spinning on my first run as I ever have-- I'm still not sure how I saved that one. It was by far my worst day of driving all year and my co-drivers weren't far behind.

Maybe it was a let down after the NCAC or something but none of us were on our game at all. Momma told me there would be days like that...

Many of the times Peterson and I had days like that we found something wrong with the car later that we just didn't realize was wrong during the event. Something to think about. This last time it was a broken front shock...wasn't wet or anything, just broken internally somehow (anyone want to hear me rant against Koni again?).

Too bad you weren't at the trialcross then. I think Dave O'Malley hit as many as 7 cones on one of his runs (and cones were 4 seconds!). They did give an extra trophy for the best off course excursion (there were 4 people total that went in the grass), I'm sure you could have beat Brett in his integra for it. . .

I definitely appreciate the advice but I honestly think we were all just driving poorly. I didn't feel like the car was any different than the previous week but I could be wrong. The three of us were chatting before the event and none of us were really into it for some reason. I think we wound up shooting ourselves in the foot by psyching ourselves out before we even started. :whoknows:

Chris' spins and my near spin were all in the same spot where it was easy to get drawn in by carrying way too much speed. I didn't have much of a problem there after my first run but I don't think Chris ever quite adapted to the course and especially that section.

Considering my left rear shock has been weeping for the better part of 3 years, I'm not sure it could get much worse. I swapped rear springs earlier in the year and I noticed that shock was *much* easier to compress than the right rear. It didn't seem to be totally blown but it definitely isn't in the best of shape. Driving Scott Sawyer's CRX was quite an eye-opener regarding my crappy shocks. The worst part is that I have a set just like his sitting in my living room but I didn't want to install them and then destroy 'em driving around on the street. I'll just suffer through the rest of the season with the car in it's current shape and go from there.

Still excited about driving the CRX Ryan? :D

There is actually a high probability I won't be in the CRX next year anyway so we'll see I guess. No matter what happens, a trailer is definitely in the works for next year...
