Anyone interested in taking over maintenance of it? I haven't touched it since last year since nobody ever sent me info and since I wasn't even going this year I got tired of trying to follow the threads for the complete info. Ideally someone needs to be willing to actually be involved on the NCAC organizing committee because otherwise it seems the committee won't bother letting you know the info directly. It seems to me like it would make sense to have someone who could get the info up in a timely manner such that the organizers could just post a link to the website instead of starting threads and putting up the info as they decide it, but maybe that's just my pipe dream, I don't know.

All I know is I didn't do a very good job of chasing the info and it shows. The hosting part of it is taken care of, it just needs someone who knows some HTML and/or knows how to build sites with some sort of HTML creation tool. I'm actually not very good with HTML or graphics in any way, though I did get a friend to do a new banner for the top of the main page that looks a little better than the current one and I'll be happy to pass that to the new owner. It would be fairly easy to get the site up to speed currently.

Send me an email at djb@donniebarnes.com if you're interested and include some brief qualifications. I actually don't really make the final decision on who gets to do this as it isn't *my* site, but I can put you in touch with the powers that be and I'm sure anyone half qualified and willing will be able to do it AND do a better job than I have.

Donnie, if you just can't give it away I'll take the maintenance back over. Let's try for another month or so before making any official changes though. I'll post to the other clubs (assuming you haven't already done this) and see if anyone else is willing to take it on.

I haven't posted on other club forums, so if you have accounts and want to do that you can definitely feel free. I can do Triad if you don't already have an account there, but that's the only one I have of the other clubs.

If I knew ANYTHING about hosting a website, I'd take it off your hands Donnie.

Unfortunately, I decided to be a pilot instead of a computer geek. You see where that got me!!

Understood, Todd. Looks like we may have a volunteer anyway, though. Stay tuned...

I thought I read a nice write-up on the event, but I can't remember where?
I'll check our newsletter, but did somebody else remember a nice summary, preferably from HSCC?

EDIT - nevermind, found it.

Ryan - would you like say something on behalf of THSCC, or maybe I could use some thanks from posts here?

Donnie, let me know if that falls through. I might be willing to take it on. Long shot. But still.

Maybe an ITR in DS.
