I didn't get any video/data on Saturday 'cause it was too dang hot to mess with it. I was a little concerned with the equipment becoming too hot as it tends to get smokin' hot even when it's only ~90 degrees outside. Considering it was way past that, I decided to leave it be for the day.

Here are the videos of the best runs from Sunday featuring Chris Lin, Eric Sienkiewicz and myself:

Chris' 3rd run @ 42.0xx

Eric's 2nd run @ 41.5xx

Jim's 3rd run @ 40.9xx

I apologize for the shaky camera work. It looks like my hi-tech camera mount didn't like the heat much either and combined with the already shaky passenger seat it's mounted to, it winds up looking like a scene out of the last "Bourne" movie. :)

Cool info - I *so* want to get a datalogger, but I worry it'll just distract me from learning the basic stuff.

Baby steps...

A few people have asked me how my car is to drive - I'm having fun, but I have almost no frame of reference vs. other performance cars (parents had a Chevy Citation X11, I owned a MkI GTI ~10yrs ago, and got to play with an A4 in Europe over 5yrs ago). My offer of a co-drive is still open! I won't be at Sanford, but any other time any TH hotshoes are car-less, let me know!

Nov 11th maybe? I'm not sure I'll be able to make the Danville event.
