Are we still doing the fun-run AX on Sunday?

Hey Everybody - If you wanted to sign up online for this one, you missed your chance. Since I'm feeling generous, you can still show up with membership card and $30 in hand day of the event (but be patient, 'cuz I won't be able to make the event and there'll be an old lady running the computer). Thanks!
Amy

Bring exact change or a check if you can. Our registrar of the day will be too busy thinking of ways to get revenge on Amy to make change :)

Registration is 8:30 to 9:30 AM, with the festivities beginning promptly at 9:30. Instructors are asked to arrive by 8:30.

Also, please bring your own lunch, or be prepared to make a banzai run to the nearest fast food establishment to retrieve your lunch. You will want to be on-site during lunch, since that's when Jim P and the other instructors will be discussing event day strategies and tips. And, though the heat is supposed to moderate a bit Saturday, please bring plenty of water and/or sports drinks to keep yourself hydrated.

Are these tips going to include not staying up past five in the morning drinking with Dave O'Maley? If not, they might want to include that. Day 2 of the Super Regional was a little rough.

Hey, who you calling old and slow? You can run but you can’t hide.

Then, when you least expect it……………………………….......................

I’ll get even. Heee heeee heeee

Oh, and what she said. I'm old and blind, so be patient. Registration is new to me.

On a side note, did you see the guy (don't remember what state it was), that paid for his property taxes using $1 bills and change. His quarterly payment was over $12k.

He did this as a protest to how much his property taxes had risen over the last 5 years. It was funny, because it took a group of over 10 people at the tax office over 2 hours to count it.

He will be doing the same for his October payment as well :) - AB

Wow. That's nice weather. Hopefully it will be that nice for the NCAC. Today in Charlotte, we are expecting our 7th day in triple digits within the last two weeks. - AB

Hope this weather they're talking about pans out. We were there all afternoon and it was KILLER hot!

Malia, Art's opening the gate at 7:30 FYI. Come find me if you have time. I think I have it under control, but I never pass up help. Thanks for the offer.
