in looking over the entries for the June 10 event, we are only at 68 of 120 drivers at last count. It's interesting to note how many are non tarheel members. I guess everyone has vacation planned that weekend 8). This brings up a question. What is the minimum amount of drivers we need to make an event work?

and a personal note, I have my youngest son Jordan talked into his first autox on the 10th. Giving him a crash course in a manual tranny car right now so we can co-drive the bimmer. He took the street survival last year, so we'll if that training comes into play.

see you at the track...

For the Danville surper regional we only had around 70 drivers for saturday. We had enough workers, got 5 runs, and were finished by 2pm. It should not be a problem. :)

Don't say that with this being my return to co-chairing after many years...

Todd I don't know how to work the software (we're using AXWare now right?) but I've done raw sheets before. If you guys need a hand in the bus, find me. I do have a codriver again for this event, so keep that in mind.

Quit worrying, let me do that. It will work out just fine.

L'burg is the place we can MOST afford a low turn out.

We will not be there and will probably missed a few more events. The last time I was at Laurinburg with the Porsche club a month ago the tranny let me down. During a fun run, when it was time to shift to 3rd gear it didn't went in it. The shifter was kind of stuck in neutral, the only gears that I can select is 5th and reverse, all the other I cannot select them. I think that a selecting fork as slide on his shaft and the interlock is preventing me of selecting these gears. So I need to take the transmission out and open it to see what is wrong. I didn't have time yet to work on the car, out of town for work, then vacation in Quebec, on our return last week we install some hardwood floor in a part of the house. Should be able to have some time to work on the car soon.

With brief guidance up front, I can help out with T&S also...Stephen snagged me at the Evo school on Sunday to run T&S, and I had a bit of "on the job training" so to speak with AXWare. :? It worked out fine though...other than that crazy remote display not showing the real recorded times (btw, I noticed this at Sanford recently too when I thought my faster run was a 64.xxx something and later saw it was 63.xxx when the results were posted).
