Just putting the request out there so we get one lined up ASAP. We will hopefully be going down Saturday to do the set up. Post here if you can help out.

Just to add on here...

The bus driver gets a free hotel room if they stay over night. Free entry too. If you have a season pass, then we'll slip you $20.

Stephen Westerfield is NOT the bus driver, he's an AX VP and has a lot of other stuff to do.

Karl and I were chatting about the possibility of me co-driving his S2000 for June. If I do, I will be towing his car to Laurinburg, and he can drive the bus! I think he's chairing the event after all.

Just tossing out ideas :)

I'm waiting on comeback from Whitney on this codrive thing - if he and I are both in the S2000, the deal is done. I'll drive the bus, he trailers the S2000 down, all is good. I don't have to get home, given that the bus driver gets a hotel room comped.

HOWEVER, there are a number of caveats surrounding me and Mike's arrangement and as a result, it sure would be nice to have a "primary" plan in place, with me as a backup.

Any takers?

Slight status change, to the good this time. I am driving the bus down. Whitney is bringing the S2000 on his trailer and we're codriving it for the event. Which also disallows me from taking cheater pops on the course on setup day, which I actually kind of like.

It would still be nice to have a backup plan, in case Mike gets caught out by something like a sick kid. So someone should step up as an unlikely backup, just in case.

Anyone?
