Jimmy V would be a great way to start off a relationship at that site. Shows off all the good points about the club right from the get-go.

Very excited about having a closer parking lot site! Now if NCCAR can just get their VDA expansion going.....

WOW! That is awesome.

With the new regulations there is no way to build a site than open any longer, well, at least not here in Wilson. The new ordinance requires landscape islands ever other parking bay to reduce the impervious areas so there would be lots of curbs to hit.

Ha Ha, I remember an event in the postage stamp size movie theater parking lot across from UNCW. They used every inch of pavement there with grid an pits behind and on the side of the building. Seems like the community college lot had a bunch of light poles as well.

Crown sounds like a great site. Could we run mirror image courses there, or would terrain prohibit this?

Dude. I was thinking the same thing. Even if it was for a non points event at the end of the season, that would rock!
I'd even consider breaking my self inflicted "never chair another event" rule to do that one!

This is looking like a really strong possibility for Jimmy V which is a great thing and we should have something determined by next week at the latest.

We're 95% of the way there locking in the new Crown Coliseum. Just a little bit of final paperwork to wrap up and we're going to start publicizing the Jimmy V like never before once it's totally official!

I think everyone will really enjoy the site and the layout is our first big parking lot site, not counting Greenville or RBC as they're a little smaller, but were still fun.

This event will be held in the front lot, on the south east side of the building. Its slightly smaller, but more square. Closer proximity to bathrooms and the front lobby (if people need to step inside to cool off due to the heat) were the main determining factors. Depending on how well this event goes, we may try the north lot for a future event. I'm REALLY excited about this.

And for those curious, there is a Hardees and a Mexican restaurant very close :)

The grey lines you see are just google maps creating a "street" they aren't there. You can actually get street view from the road nearby to get a sense of the size of the lot.

Someone should post to the NCR and CCR websites, as the location seems easy for both clubs. Could be a potential NCAC site....getting stoked for July!
