I was thinking about going to one of the Triad events in April. Do they not use myautoevents like it says on their website? Do you even have to prereg?

I have only prereged for one Triad event ever. It was a waste of time. They never "sell out", and get confused if you did preregister. That's not a joke. Just get there with twenty bucks cash and you'll be fine.

Any times >100.xxx are actually minutes and seconds so a time of 101.333 is actually 61.333 seconds...
It shows me 39.+++ sec behind Donna when I actually beat her by .004.
(Of course that was the run where she got charged with a cone from her previous aborted run, but I don't get to beat her very often so I'll take it, even just on paper.)

If it's the event at Danville that is one of the SEDiv points events you might want to preregister tho, it is likely to be capped.

Video of some Corvettes and a Mini. Courtney Cormier driving Rod McGeorge's yellow monster starts around 5:30, and includes another run. If you pay close attention, you can see John Shealley's Hair in the Morgan staging behind the Mini at 6:32. Ryan, you're welcome.

Someone's posted a revised Pax and raw order list on VMSC's forum. You don't need to be registered/member to view it. Might be a while before the entire results are recompiled unless someone steps up and does it.

After that results fiasco, it shows that VMSC needs to spend some $$ in order to get on track. $200 upgrade the version of Autoxware is cheap.

One thing that would help their program tremendously is dumping their registration person. I know she's the president's wife or something like that, but she's brutally slow and basically incompetent for someone who's been doing this for the 5+ years I've been going to VMSC events.

I hate to be critical, but I know for fact I am not the only one who feels this way. - AB

The solution is simple enough, just don't go to their events :-) Their registration is the same no matter who is there...been there, done that. If you want to run VMP (maybe THSCC could go back), try NASA-MA. They have maybe 5,6,7 events scheduled there this year.

No, you're not.

NASA is ok, but they're proud of their events ($40). VMSC was $30 for nonmembers.

If you have the best site in the southeast and offer 6 or more runs per event, I guess you can command that kind of money. VMP ain't cheap to rent. But it is good to see that it is available again.

It's on the radar, just like other more local venues. I didn't have a chance to talk with Felton on Sunday to get more information regarding 2008.

I don't know how everyone else feels, but I'd pay more to run VMP with TH. In fact, I think it would be *really* great if TH did a late-year TnT at VMP. Would be a big help for those going to Nationals, that's for sure.

That only benefits about 2% of the active THSCC AX participants :-) And it has been rented by private parties for TnT before.
