I got a truck bed full of brand new cones (150 or so). I don't have any where to store them until the bus gets back from Laurinburg, so I need a volunteer.

I need someone to:

A.) Store them and bring them to Laurinburg in 2 weeks.

or

B.) Store them and then bring them to where ever the bus ends up when it comes back from Laurinburg in 2 weeks.

There are 200 cones. Lets try to not destroy them all at the first event

Does this meant that Graham and I will have more cones for the course we design for our event?

All depends if you want Kevin Allen to show up or not.

Kevin Allen probably won't be going to Laurinburg this year. So feel free to use all of them -- and try to stay off the grippy concrete as much as possible. I hear people with Celicas and Hoosiers like to drive through the grass/dirt. Right, Graham?

We won't need too many cones. I kinda liked Kevin's course from last fall. It only took me 3 runs to remember where the course was. I think this time it needs to be a little less technical and a bit faster.

Graham won't be going to L'burg this year either. The event is in Sanford  Email me that course map from last year when you get a chance. I'm sure hot grid can be adjusted to go through the grass. It'll make the launches more fun.

Graham, you could always lay out course that goes into the bushes and trees down by the railroad tracks.

No volunteers? If I can't find someone, I might take a poll to see which THSCC'er most deserves their front lawn to be decorated in orange while they sleep.

Sounds like a new benefit of being heel of the month.

I've got room in my garage, but no way to transport.

Stephen - I don't mind keeping them here next to the garage at my house. Just get the bus back here to my house after Lburg and I will load the new cones into the trailer. I'll take the bus to John's house, and whomever is doing the OCS rallycross would just need to coordinate getting the bus from there.

While the bus is here we could take care of a few items -- I would like to take it to Triangle Truck & Auto for maintenance and an inspection.

Let me know if you want to dump the cones here.

I second that!!! I can't remember the last event in which the R needed third gear. That might be my fault though...

That sounds like a good plan all around. I am going to the hockey game tonight, but I will bring them by tomorrow night if that works for you.
