Having read SCCAForums over the last week, I'm still fine with how things are playing out. Howard needs *some* events to get the T&S stuff *right* for 2008. Worrying about "qualifying" for the Finale is a bit premature since it isn't likely to be fully anyway, particularly with all the pissing and moaning going on.

Sure, ProSolo as we knew it doesn't exist this year. But the events that are on the schedule should be hella-fun for folks that like ProSolo better than Tours.

I only did two Tours this year, and one was testing the Cayman in Florida in February (who can complain about going to Florida in Feb?) and the other was Walnut Ridge since it was a back-to-back with the Pro there and the Tour was good seat time for the Pro (though that didn't work out for me since I ended up ditching the Cayman and carhopping anyway). So I will likely run no Tours this year.

To make up for the lack of events, I'll probably do more road racing and still only do a handful of locals.

I agree with Donnie. We will still do the pros they are too much fun not to. I really think that to encourage and reward those who do go to pros this year, anyone doing two pros in 07 should get first shot at a finale entry.
