since this weekend is a non-points event i thought we should give the usuals a break and give others the opportunity to do special worker assignments. we can learn some folks and hopefully increase the pool for next years WC (not me :D ).

all assignments are up for grabs...please let me know what you want to do...first come, first served, but i reserve the right to shuffle you arround as necessary. thanks.

here's the list of jobs to be done:

gate - self serve

starter (1st heat) - Marcus McRae
starter (2nd heat) - Matt McGrain
starter (3rd heat) - Mike Whitney (unless the bus needs him)
starter (4th heat) - Chuck Frank

grid (1st heat) - Wes Eargle
grid (2nd heat) - Keith Vail
grid (3rd heat) - David Ekstrom
grid (4th heat) -

I can do first gate if you get no other takers.

Chris, upon further consideration, i think we are going to nix gate workers. we don't have a full crowd coming so i'd like to save as many folks as possible for gate and grid.

oh, and since it's members only, they should know what to do.

thanks!!!

Chris,

If DS is still in the first heat, I'll do the start for the 2nd heat.

I'll volunteer for starter for the first heat, assuming that the run order is normal (I'm in STS).

on a side note, anybody know how to get rid of the stupid title underneath my name, I have no idea how it got there. . .

edit: actually I'm gonna have to back out on this one, spoke with the wife and she'd rather just work the same station together with me so that I can help her out

All of these young guys begging for the easy worker positions :-) Me thinks those positions should work double shifts.

I'm sorry Jim. I did not realize that we were supposed to reserve these postitions for the old fat bastards. :moon: :nana:

So are the beer belly and mullet the cause of Camero ownership, or are they the effect?

I do grid a lot, so I'd like to volunteer for a starter's job, since it's not points, I can run in a different run group. Otherwise if you have some other non running job for me that would be good, age has given me a bad case of the "kneesalls".

They are the "effect" for males. For the females...skin tight white shorts and bleach blonde hair :-)

What's the average time that it takes for an Camaro driver to purchase and wear the finest 10K gold plated necklace that the mall kiosk has to offer?
