Good luck to all Tarheelers heading west! We'll be keeping tabs and cheering from afar!

Good luck guys. Put a lot of rubber down on that surface for next year.

Thanks ME & David,

It turns out the Miata did not lose a water pump on Saturday. The alternator belt rubbed through a heat exchanger hose. They are having to overnight the hose and it is supposed to arrive at 10:30 Tuesday morning & the car should be ready by 11:00 a.m. Donnie and I leave Tuesday night. Everyone, please feel free to call me on my cell phone during the trip out to temporarily "rescue me" from listening to Donnie's never ending "computer engineering stories." I'm sure you can just imagine how exciting they are :-) Fortunatley, the trip is only 18 hours, so I should just have to listen to the same stories two or three times. The worst part is that I hardly ever get a chance to share any of my riveting municipal budgeting stories...now that is real excitment :-)

Eric

The real Nationals winner could be Chris Peterson, have an open plane ticket back to NC Eric?

With all due respect, GH ran for CCR at NCAC. He might be a member (not sure on that), but we know where his loyalty lies. Just thought I would throw that in since we are talking about Tarheelers going to Nationals.

I don't see GH on my copy of our membership list.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Wow. Well sorry for the wrong analysis on site there. Your car did the same thing my Miata did when the seals on the pump went so assumed that was what it was. Glad to hear you can get it fixed in time to leave. Good luck in Topeka. Waiting to hear the analysis of the new surface so I can prep for next year.

Well, we'll see about that....I have strict assurances from the doctor (and you know a doctor is NEVER wrong!!!) that there will be *NO* baby action until at least Sept 25. Of course that only gets us part of the way through the Topeka trip. So I'm sending Eric out with the flight times for all of Southwest and US Air's flights from Topeka to Raleigh. Here's hoping we DON'T need them!!

But just in case, here's hoping at least one of you guys going to Topeka can get him to the airport!!

Eric maybe you should take some of Don Mcmillian's CDs. He is a former engineer turned stand up comic.

I figure, after Eric got his first taste at the Peru Tour 2001 (thanks to yours truly), he must be a damn PRO at the strip club scene by now. :) - AB
