In regard to traction at the Greensboro site: Was this the same site as used for last year's NCAC? If it was, the grip last year was very good. According to GEEZ Miles Beam's Corvette on Kumho Victoracers pulled over 1.1 g sustained. The car "felt" like it had very good grip.

Old R tires can make any site feel like smooth glass. My last event in Miles' car was at L'burg last Fall. Car had NO grip compared to previous events . . . 3 tires were old and one was a VERY old tire. With fresh tires we all know L'burg has great grip.

When I autocrossed at Greensboro years ago on slicks the grip was fine.

I started out both days on DEAD V710s on the prelude. Stephen allowed me to switch to his integra were he had 2 event old v710s and the difference was HUGE. I went from feeling like I was on glass, to thinking that I couldn't break the car free if I tried. You can look at the results and see the difference in my times too. I went from 59.xxx in my car on day 1 to a 56.0xx in Steve's. Day 2 was similar dropping from a 45.xxx to a 43.106. Usually our cars are pretty close.

I thought the grip was pretty good at Greensboro.... in Steve's car. :D
Thanks Stephen

I have to agree...with mostly fresh V710's, I had no grip issues what so ever.

Not sure Chris. I'll add it to the list of things I need to correct.

Thanks for letting me know.
