I've looked over the forums and I didn't see any info on this. I also asked Ryan about this and just wanted to confirm the following.

> To be considered for a NCAC trophy, you HAVE to run both days and take your best run from either day.

> From a THSCC perspective, if you run Saturday, that's considered a normal autocross (#6) and counts toward class season end points.

> If you run Sunday, it will NOT be considered a normal event for THSCC and you will not collect points towards the year end season points standings.

Just wanted to make sure I'm on track here. I will not be able to attend both days since I have to take my son to ECU at least one day that weekend and I want to make sure I run in at least the THSCC club sponsored session.

thanks...

Rodney-

I'm not the official voice of what's right on NCAC, but I think your on track, except one item.

You said-

I believe that for NCAC purposes, they will take your best run for each day and add them together for the final time.

I hope you can make both days.

Rick's correct. It will be your best from each day combined for the NCAC...so you must run both days. The course will be different each day.

THSCC Points event #6 requires Saturday attendance only.

Any word on when we'll see a break out for the club day vs NCAC? I was only able to do the Saturday event. Just curious when the THSCC standings will be posted. I have to make sure I keep Richard and Mitch in my rear view mirror

thanks

C'mon Rodney, surely you've been around here long enough to know about the "he who asks for something is then volunteered to do it" rule...

Serously, I've been working on getting the NCAC results corrected and haven't had a chance to look at the one day results. I'm going to try to get to those tonight.

OK, corrected NCAC results & Sat-only (THSCC event #6) results are all up. :) Let Rodney, er, Todd know via axscoring@thscc.com if you see any errors. :P

Hang tite folks...the Saturday results are quite complete. The intent for the Saturday event was to only include folks times that have run 2 or more events with Tarheel. Also, I need to pull out the X class folks and group them together as well as create the LAD class. This will get our season points straightened out. I will do my best to get this done over the weekend.
