Without getting into all the tire class discussion, I am still learning the S2000 and I am running Azenis rather than R compound. I will definitely not be competitive in A Stock and may not be in TIR either, but I thought I would give it a shot. At least for the NCAC. So what do I need to have on the side of my car for TIR class...8 TIR, 8 ASTIR, or ? Since the S2000 is 2.2L I do not think it fits in any of the Street Touring classes, correct? Also, waiting to see info. about hotels in the area. Anything lined up yet?

We will be running a PAX'd TIR class, so TIR 8 will be all you need.

Hotel info will be posted up no later than tomorrow.

Gee Garry, are you sure you don't want to test Rob Falkner and GH Sharp in a new car on street tires?

On a more serious note, I think you will do very well in street tire against both our TIR drivers and against the other clubs (appears to be mostly CCR).

Actually Rick, I don't mind taking a whooping from you and Tom, and I wouldn't even mind it from GH, but some of the other guys....well. So I thought I could spend a lot of money for R compounds and take a still take a whooping or I could just try TIR. I want to represent THSCC as best I can so we'll see.

We already book our room at the Comfort Inn on Veasley street.
Didn't want to wait too long before reserving.

As always, Bernie and I go for the Hampton Inn, also on Veasley St. It's right down the street to the site and walking distance to several restaurants.

That's where we stay last year, when I check for this year they didn't have room with 2 beds available. So that's why we book at the Comfort Inn.
