Ummmm yeah. He ran a 33.3xx on his last run

Sorry you missed it Patrice. :P

That was smokin' fast Les. Would you mind if I rode along on a fun run sometime? I'd like to see the course at a slightly faster speed than what my ricebuRner can do.

Keith, we need to find a way to slow that black Celica down asap. 35.4's from a GS? incredible...

A man with the cash for 400HP can't afford a $10 water sprayer? C'mon Walter, old age is supposed to equal wisdom. :P

PS.
Thanks again for letting Ryan and I use yours Scott.

I've ran the AAO format in the past and personally didn't care for it. However yesterday it worked extremely well. I'm sure it helped the workers beat the heat also. It looked like our free water idea was hit since hardly any was left. We bought 5 cases I think.

Logistically I think AAO format works well, so you'll probably see it again in the future.

I'm assuming you meant Les, not Wes Matt since you quoted me. :P Unfortunatley, I can't afford to run fun runs on those dang Hoosier's at $15/run!!!

Well, sometime you need to give hope that you can be beaten by letting someone beat you!!!!

I was trying to use cold towels to cool them off - Sam Strano's idea. Even when they were only on for 2 minutes, they came off hot. I borrowed Chris and Ellis' sprayer and that helped.

Scott - you started us and I think you had it right. You never let us get anywhere near any trouble. Good job.

Cold towels won't cool as efficiently as water evaporation will.

Yeah, I've got some ideas. Next event - you take care of distracting the Johnson's for a few minutes, I'll take care of the rest.

Seriously, congrats to Scott & Sally on putting down smokin' fast laps that were a scant 0.006 seconds apart - incredible!
And Dustin's mid-34 second run for FTPAX (and FTStock!) was darn impressive, too.

Great event. I liked the all run at once format - there was plenty of time to make minor adjustments.

Thanks to Jim P. for all the tips and course walk - I know, brake sooner

Time between runs was short for 2 driver cars. Brad did a great job of keeping us on track by calling out "two minutes", then "one minute".

I don't think anyone in a two driver car is really in a position to complain about not enough time between runs.

I'd help sponsor this plan. Especially next month.

We are if we don't get 5 minutes between runs. We were pushing that limit in the 4th heat.

A quick trip to the rulebook will reveal a reason for this concern.
