Rick, I'll happily give free instruction to anyone who is foolish enough to listen at THSCC events
Hi Rodney, unfortunately I won't be in Nashville in July, but thanks for thinking of me! I'm taking a 3-week course up in Boston for work that will be going on during the Nashville school. Fortunately, there is a wicked indoor karting track in Boston, so I'm hoping to get some seat time when I'm up there. They have two tracks that are both two levels! Don't anyone tell Chris about the karting, she thinks I'm supposed to be studying up there the whole time
Barnes is still upset that he got crushed so badly this weekend after being completely taken to the woodshed. He's lucky that he even made the Challenge after being beaten so badly at 42 thousandths. He even tried to sabotage my efforts this weekend by leaving four (4) complete strut/shock assemblies in the trunk of the Miata - this is true. I casually mentioned after my second run that it sounded like something was in the trunk. He did a great job of "acting" like he forgot they were in there. It's not every day that you seeing someone pulling such items out of a truck in the staging lanes in then middle of their runs. It was pretty funny.
BTW, watch out for the Solstice in C Stock...those cars are going to be a bloody handful to compete against. They are running 285/30s on 18 x 8's and look to handle exceptionally well.
