I liked the course, I liked the weather, I liked the kiddie corral.

Sally, Meghan and I had a great time. Thanks to all the folks that keep these things running!

I'd ask to have the SP cars sweep the course at the next event, but then I might not be able to leave early when it's 2000 degrees outside.

Two thumbs up on the course design and cone usage. It was a very enjoyable course.

Agreed. Challenging, but easy to follow, and thus very few cone calls. My favorite feature was the off-center Chicago box. Great job!

I loved the course. As Carl said it was easy to follow but tricky to go really fast. The event name and dash plaque were priceless. One of the best events I have attended in a while.

I enjoyed the course too. Being a novice it wasn't as confusing a layout as Laurinburg and had more variety than Sanford. I had a blast and look forward to running in Danville again.

Great course, Great event... couldn't ask for better weather. This has to be the most fun I've had at an event.

What difference reducing the event size by 50 people :-) Great weather, no major timing issues, good course design made for an awesome event.

One thing...stop the chicago box madness. Not sure when or how it happened that our club has fallen in love with those things. One gate set a little to center of the course would have been 100 times better than that box.

The course design was excellent. As Keith commented, it was easy to follow, but hard to get it just right so as to be really fast - very well done.

For future couse designers these are the things you need to think about when planning a course.

To have a good, challenging course it does NOT have:
-A Gimmick element
-Every cone in the bus
-Super tight elements
-Elements that require a mircale to get thru (thread the needle type things)

A course needs to be easy to drive, but difficult to drive fast. This one hit it on the head.

Also, if there is one thing that everyone needs to realize, NOBODY is above being poked fun at. I thought the dash plaque was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Its not really our faces superinposed, its them leaning on my Miata that just made it a classic. I would have thought being the president would have at least allowed me to be the "giver" in the pic. I will say it now, the Xmas party is gonna be a bit more "adult" and I will get my revenge on Mike and Jon.

This was one of the best event in the 2+ years I've been around. Thanks to everybody that made it happen.
The course was great. It was hard to go really fast, but not confusing at all. There were few dnfs and not too many cone penalities. It was fair to all types of cars with good variety. I didn't even mind the Chicago box with the 30' exit because the pivot cone was set out a little (thanks Ryan!) I only hit "my" cone once. I loved the fast parts, especially the finish at the top of my second gear - 65 mph.
The only thing missing was Christine and her crew. But, with fast food so close, we survived!
Now, the dash plaque was the best of all time. I laughed again when I looked at it this morning. I did worry a little when Vincent "mooned" me at the starting line. I wouldn't want to make Ryan jealous!

The finish would have been a great place to set up the radar gun. People were carrying a lot of speed through there.

Go ahead and steal the wheel out of Triad's bus. Do you really need a binary visual aid?

I split the worker stuff from the event stuff, so find the right thread :)
