Their sports car days are done. They need the practice in a family sedan. The next logial step is a mini van. It is not that far of a leap.

Donnie is having the Miata hauled out to California and Texas so he can run the Pros there over the next few weeks. Thus, it won't be available for Sanford or Danville. Otherwise, we'd definitely be in the Miata, especially since we have a ton of tires for it.

Chris did really well in the STi (i.e., hackmobile) last year, but I didn't do so hot.....so, I'll likely be taken to the woodshed again next weekend, but I am looking forward to it :-) Hopefully I can get some good tips & coaching from the many skilled hackmaster pilots in the club. Regardless, the STi is a real blast to drive! My goal for the weekend is to stay ahead of Chris since she was like only 2 tenths behind me on raw time last year at Sanford. After she whooped up on me at the Rush Hour kart track earlier in the year the trash talking didn't stop for a week. I can't imagine what it would be like if she beat me when she was pregnant...hopefully she won't read this post :-)
