Has anybody run there?

Trying to figure out if I can flee the in-laws this Saturday.

Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.

I have run there. The site is fairly small and the course average is about 30-40 seconds. Sometimes it is slightly longer. The surface is decently grippy but it is a parking lot with light poles and curbs to steer around.

The light poles and curbs are on the outside of where they have the course. It's small, but has a good slope that potentially could have good interesting-camber features.

My Miata is already loaded up after getting an alignment this am. It'll be interesting to see how the more aggressive alignment, Ground Controls and poly bushings react to the loose nut in the driver's seat.

Its nothing to get too excited about, but a decent site. They've had some good courses there but its no Danville. They always run the course a little too close to the islands at the top of the lot for my tastes, but there's no much better way to do it and have a course of any decent length.

Thanks to Adam Breakey for showing me what my car is and isn't capable of.

I think that Adam is also trying to take away Tom Freeman's title of Ninja of Crossthreading Lug Studs.

Thanks again Wes for letting me hop in your car today. It was a fun day, even with my car on the trailer.

Oh yeah, wood was stolen as well. Just don't trust the results on the TSCC website when they come out.

Not a bad event, had alot of fun on the short course. Not very crowded and got 6 runs in. I enjoyed getting the seat time as well as fighting Todd for 1st......(I tell ya that whole cone knock over penalty thing is soooo over-rated). Beats sittin at home looking at my broken car in the driveway trying to remember WHY it's still there.

Hey, Wes-Good Shot! Where on the course was I? Hope that was a pointer cone behind me! By the way, before I take heat for not looking far enough ahead.....I'm NOT looking down, Granny's looking over the top of her bifocals! Otherwise everything beyond 18 inches is VERY blurred! (Not to say that I still should be watching farther ahead than I do!) It was a fun way to spend a Saturday, wasn't it? Even if it was SOOOOO COLD!

I wish that I could take credit for that, but I stole it from TSCC's forum.

"Granny" looked far enough ahead to win ladies fastest time pax. Ever since I bought those V710's as her xmas present she's been on a roll. If it keeps up I'll have to get her an XL helmet. She's three for three in ladies this year....
