You might do better rallycrossing with one of these than with a Miata, Ryan.

16 CSP 9 Ryan Holton 1991 Mazda Miata 75.220
18 STU 99 Kevin Allen 04 Subaru On/Off Switch 75.598

I didnt even have to adjust my center diff one single time

There is no 'bullshit'. You just have to make that intuitive leap to know WHY we are shifting. I just told you we were.

I'm finding my STi to require a lot more planning for shifts than any other car I've autocrossed, mainly because any steering input while going on/off throttle (when shifting) results in massive torque steer tendency, making the car feel twice as wide as it actually is and requiring a ton of steering correction. The way I've resigned to dealing with it is to plan shifts only when pointed straight, which is often far in advance of running out of gear. Combine that with the STi's short gearing (3rd gear required on every autocross course I've run it on), and you can screw up a run real quick if you wait until redline to shift.

Ryan, you were doing European Rallycross - part on pavement, part on dirt. But good job, regardless!! :D
