i dont think anyone disagrees with a like-car match up. the issue at hand is how to arrange things before the event.

Should we ask the Web crew to work with us to ensure that if anyone signs up as a NOV on pre-reg, that they HAVE to include their eMail address so we can hit them up with an eMail before hand? Sort the NOVs into 'Run Groups' before hand based on car class so we can setup mentors before the event?

As we 'generally' know what cars run what heats, we could work to get the NOVs split into 'heat groups' and match corresponding mentor drivers up with them to ensure scedules work for them.

Does that sound good? Just knowing what cars are running in what heats and how that matches up makes it easier for the NM to pick and choose canidates, and get in touch with them early.

That's all I got at this point... work.. ugh..
