Thanks. The car in your avatar runs 4 sec 0-60? That is pretty impressive. I have to shift three times to get to 60, thats four seconds by itself. :)

I doubt many here have heard of the Durocco, which is too bad;

The short version : its a AWD 3.8ltr 32v Scirocco :shock:

That is cool. Would have been better with a pair of 1.8t engines, but hey, you have to leave yourself room for Stage II.

A real ricer is the guy with the loose combat kit still in gelcoat, four foot wing and small trashcan for exhaust tip.

"Yea, but should we talk about which one is actually faster? "

My car would be very quick if pushed off a cliff. :)

I agree with this definition of "Ricer" and we don't have any in this club. It is also a mentality which is thankfully absent also.
I was just kidding, Mike! Neither you or your car is rice.
Which one is faster? It depends on the kind of race. Drag racing with different tires - 1.64 60', 12.056 at 119.3 and should have been around 11.9 with that trap speed. I think that translates into 0 - 60 in 3.8
seconds. That's not bad in an M6 for a fat old man with a bad heart!
Autocrossing? Way too much HP and not enough driver talent.
Hot Rod - You know it when you hear it too. :lol:
SM is going to be a lot of fun this year!

Oh come on! Have you seen this car?

He's done a swap in a Honda and has the red "H" badge on the trunk. He's a showcase for rice! He just needs some LED Windshield washer nozzles to be complete.

What do you drive? My STi requires 3rd gear for 60 and 5th gear to cross the 1/4!

Gti trans and 13" wheels in a Scirocco. I might be able to get to sixty in third, but it would be right at or a little over redline.
