Indeed, excellent, excellent! event. Thanks very much to everyone who helped make it such a good time. I came away having achieved all my goals for testing and tuning. There's no greater success for a Test 'n' Tune than that. I'm ready and eager to run for points.
I never really had a problem with traction that wasn't obviously driver-induced. I did suffer from some fairly heavy understeer at times on the fast course in the morning, but that all went away on the tight course in the afternoon with a couple more psi in the fronts. That was a great course for transitional handling, which is where I wanted to put the most work. Developed a real feel for the new tyres, my first time on r-comps, major fun.
I still don't think I'll be a threat to Jim at the points event, but the TnT gave me just what I needed to perhaps be close enough behind to stop him being too lazy...
